Barnes Home Improvements is a family business in Wooster, Ohio. This site exists so you can find us and tell us about a job. That is the only reason it collects anything.

What we collect

If you send the estimate form, we receive what you typed: your name, phone number, town, and what you told us about the job. If you call or text, your carrier shows us your number the same as any phone call. That is the list.

What we do with it

We use it to call you back about your project, and for nothing else. We do not sell it, rent it, trade it, or hand it to advertisers. Form submissions are delivered and stored by Scroll Theory Media, the local company that built and maintains this site, solely so we do not lose your message.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not run advertising trackers and does not use cookies to follow you around the internet. If we add basic visit counting later (to see which pages people find useful), this page will say so first.

How we protect it

Everything you send through this site travels over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Submissions are held by Scroll Theory Media, the local company that built and maintains this site, on access-controlled servers, and the only people who read your enquiry are Al and Cody. This website never asks for and never stores card numbers, bank details or Social Security numbers.

We keep your details only as long as we need them to quote the job and stand behind the work, and you can have them deleted sooner — see below.

Removing your information

Want what you sent us deleted? Call or text (330) 621-5810 and say so, and it will be.

Text messages

If you tick the box on our estimate form, we may text you about your request at the number you gave us: transactional messages and alerts such as appointment reminders and job updates, and once in a while a promotional message about an offer. That is it. We do not sell, rent or share your phone number or any part of your information with third parties for their own marketing.

Message frequency varies with the job. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not stop us calling you back about work you asked us to quote.
